We are planning a cross country move to Denver in the near future. My bf hasn't been back to Denver since he moved away 14 years ago. As we start to think about areas that we want to find an apartment or home, we aren't sure how to tell what is a decent area and what's kind of sketchy. We'll have a 3 day weekend to visit to start the house hunt, but are seeking some ideas in advance for areas where we should focus our search. Any neighborhoods or areas to avoid? It's hard to tell from the reviews and google maps ![:) :)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I figured we'd have a better shot of getting suggestions from people on here than if we posted on our respective Facebook pages for suggestions.
Thanks!

Most of Denver's pretty nice. Rather than shady areas, you'll have shady pockets. I don't live there anymore but I was there for graduate school from 2008-2011 and think about moving back all the time.0
