Anybody else doing one-set workouts?

I changed my lifting routine to one-set (HIT) about six weeks ago, and I love it. I used to lift six days a week (alternating muscle groups), for about an hour a session (doing the traditional 3 sets of 12 reps), and now I'm working out 3 days a week for about 40 minutes and seeing better gains. One set of 8-10 reps, very slowly, to total exhaustion, and then on to the next exercise. I was pretty skeptical at first, but now I'm completely sold. Is anyone else doing this? I'd like to hear what your experience has been with this approach.

I'm about to start doing it. I like the idea. I'll check back to let you know how things are going, but glad to hear you are liking it after 6 weeks.

I think you'll like it. The intensity is fantastic. I do about 3.5 seconds up and 3.5 seconds down (7 sec per rep), so a set of 8-10 is taking anywhere from 56 to 70 seconds. When I get done with squats, I'm panting like I just ran a mile, and when I finish the workout, I'm exhausted.
