Lifting heavy and running

Hi there. Really new to the fitness and workout world and trying to educate myself. I see a lot of running with some strength training or just heavy lifting but I never heard of someone doing them together. I was wondering if anyone has had great results doing both? Not just fitness wise but weight loss wise as well.

I do both. Give it time and you will see great results.0

If you are new to exercise and healthy eating and your goal is fat loss you can definitely do both and achieve amazing results.0

I do both as well and really enjoy them. It takes a little time.0

I don't run now...I do lift heavy and do HIIT and bike (road bike)....still cardio...
Lots of heavy lifters actually do cardio on off days...might not be running but some form of cardio...0 -
You can definitely do both. The only difference between that and only doing strength training is that you have to or in my opinion get to eat more.0
