New Lady to the group...

I did Atkins 3 years ago (I did have insulin problems) and lost 40 lbs., but after the birth of my daughter it doesn't seem to be working. Our fertility specialist said that it is possible that my body could "correct" (aka restart) itself after having a baby. So that is some background... Now I have a few questions abou the exercise portion. I ride a bike with a trailer attatched to the back with a 25 lb. toddler in it, how do I account for the extra towing weight? Or what have you guys done to account for it? Also, walking pushing a stroller with the same weight toddler? Not mall walking, but get your heart rate up brisk walking?
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

    Welcome to the group. I am not sure how you would count it but a heart rate monitor would give you the best and most accurate reading. Do you have a computer on your bike?
