Low Calorie Food?

Hey,

I was wondering.. what are some low calorie foods, meals and snacks that are both healthy and filling?

  • We get the 35 calorie bread, tilapia, instant oatmeal packs, Jennie O ham (watch the sodium on that), fruits, vegetables, Butter ball bacon thin and crispy, egg whites, some Subways ( also watch the sodium on that). So many out there, and so many choices. That is just a few things I eat.

    Veggies I find to be low cal can filling.
    I eat them all day long as snacks.

    I like string cheese. about 70 calories, and extra protein!
  • I have been enjoying turkey burgers - I add onion, spinach and feta (optional) and its a great low calorie option and filling too. I've also been eating the heck out of spaghetti squash, I cook it in the microware (the whole thing) for 15 mintues and then put a little spaghetti sauce on it. The spaghetti squash is about 50 calories for a cup and it is way better for you than real spaghetti!

    I also make breakfast sandwiches using turkey bacon and egg whites on a deli sandwhich thin...delicious!
