Samsung Gear Fit / gear 2 Neo

Does anyone have one of these? Does it work well? How does it compare accuracy wise to a traditional chest-strap based heart rate monitor?

Does it connect to any apps otehr than samsungs? i.e. runkeeper, endomondo, etc?
