My first weight loss goal was to lose 16 pounds for my friend's wedding. I had a foot injury back in October and was unable to workout, which in my mind, also gave me license to eat...a lot! I gained probably 10-11 pounds from my normal weight. I was a bridesmaid in the wedding and my dress was pretty snug when I went to pick it up. Since there was no way to let the dress out I figured I'd better get on track and drop a few pounds. I decide to try to just lose weight slowly through the holidays so I didn't deprive myself too much and have a horrible binge. After New Year's I kicked it up a notch and added weight lifting too. The wedding was this past Saturday (May 24th) and I hit the 16 pound mark that morning. I am super excited about losing the first 16 pounds. Now I am on to my second goal...another 20 pounds.
