I'm working as a PSW at a nursing home for the Summer, which can be quite a physical job. I know that I burn more calories on days when I work as opposed to sitting at home, but I have no idea how to log that. Any other PSWs with similar experiences? What do you do? Do you just not account for the calories burned at work?

I work as a Continuing Care Assistant in a nursing home. Basically what you are calling a PSW. I do not track the calories I burn at work as extra. I don't for the simple fact it is the normal day to day calories I burn because it is my job. When you set up how many calories you should be consuming, it asks you how sedentary you are.I take into consideration on how much I move around at my job with this question. To me, if I track my walking at work as an exercise I am counting those calories twice. I only count the extra calories I burn such as going for a walk or lifting weights. That however is just my personal preference. Maybe i'm thinking wrong.0
