Tracking calories when cooking from scratch

Supper tonight consist of diced pork cubed steak simmered in a packet of chicken gravy mix with 2/3 cup of milk and various spices. I am then adding the meat and sauce to egg noodles.

My question do I just track the calories and nutrition of the pork cubed steak and egg noodles or do I try to break the other ingredients down by serving?

What is your general rule of thumb when cooking from scratch?

Thanks

I would use the MFP recipe tool to create a recipe for the entire meal and divide it in to how ever many servings you want. This way, when you eat the leftovers, you'll be able to easily track it.

Thanks. I didn't know such a tool existed.
