Are there any exercises that can slim down bulky calves?

            Reduce your bodyfat percentage.
Although, I'm wondering in what world I'd be considered about my bulky calves.

Reducing body fat will help, but there are no exercises that directly target any body part for fat reduction.

I'll never have skinny legs, but I'm proud of my muscular calves. They're the place where I've seen the most toning and definition as I've been losing weight and working on getting healthier.
Also, boo to self-defeating usernames. You're not going to get anywhere by knocking yourself down instead of building yourself up.0 -
But seriously OP. Your calves are most likely a mix of fat and muscle right now. They may feel super hard like they are all muscle, but there is probably intramuscular fat in there (like marbling on a steak). You don't need to do anything to reduce the size of the muscle (and shouldn't, muscle is very healthy and sexy) and you can't spot reduce fat. Continue to eat at a calorie deficit, get adequate protein and incorporate some type of strength training and you'll be happy with your results.0

Firstly, a little better self perception would do you wonders, judging by your username. You have the chance to change it once, btw.
Secondly, you can't target fat loss. Keep a moderate deficit, a good amount of protein and ideally a weightlifting routine if possible, that will be your best bet at BF reduction. As far as them being "bulky". I doubt it.0 -
Who really wants sticks for legs? Friends don't let friends skip leg day.0

Came back to be helpful - OP my calves started at over 18". They are now just a hair under 16". Diet and normal exercise will reduce the fat all over your body, and this includes your calves. I've always had very strong calves, but even though they were "hard" there was still a lot of fat there. It will come off with time.0

yep! Eat lots of protein and reduce your bodyfat%.
Can't spot reduce fat!!
:grumble: ...wish you could tho...getting a six pack is just ridiculous some days... constantly having to work EVERYTHING...0 -
