Sooo nearly reached my target by my deadline... pics

So I started using the wonderful MFP again on 15th January 2014. I had entered an important show on my horse and at the time I was too heavy to even ride him. The date of the show was 18th May. I had to lose a stone (14pounds) to ride him comfortably and I aimed to lose 2 1/2 stone (35pounds) to look ok on him. Something of a challenge. But I needed a good challenge. I'd had a bad fall off one of my other horses in November 2013 which made it hard for me to stand up till the end of December and I'd been comfort eating!
When I last went to that show (Royal Windsor) it was 2010 and I was about 2 stone over my target and I hate the photos. He's such a delicate looking horse and I'm really too tall for him so being overweight as well is neither a good look nor kind. So I had good motivation. Every time I wanted to give up I looked at my least favourite photo of me on him and it made me stick to my plan.
It very nearly worked- I lost 33 pounds by the show and this time I love the photos of me on him. We didn't win anything but I had a great day and was so proud of my little horse.
The hated photo that inspired me:
