Hit Plateau

Hello everyone.........I just need some advice!! I have been going to the gym very regularly and I have managed to loose 17lbs doing this. I have currently hit a plateau and I can't get my numbers to move......

I usually do 30 min Cardio and 40 min Circuit.....

Does anyone have any advice on how I can nudge my numbers??

Thank you!!

You don't mention the most important thing to losing weight... How is your food intake? Are you logging accurately? Using a food scale? Do you have your calorie goal set correctly?

or how long it's been since you lost weight...if it's been a week or two you are not at a plateau...

How long has the plateau been going on? I recently went through two, 2-week flatlines.

It happens. As long as you are staying with the calorie goal accurately, it'll move again.

    Yep.

It doesn't matter what exercise you do (or whether you exercise at all really) if you aren't in a deficit.

I am measuring everything and I am staying within my 1200 allowance. I do NOT eat my exercise calories back, I just keep them tucked away in my brain in case I indulge over a weekend. I set my diary to public........I believe I am going about this the right way......anyone feel free to take a peek!!

I haven't lost anything for about 3 weeks, last night at the gym I upped my Cardio too so I will see if this helps. I just don't want to get discouraged.

    Measuring or weighing?

1200 with no exercise calories seems like a recipe for disaster though, IMO.
