Losing weight with PCOS- any advice/tips

Hi,
I'm 21 and I was diagnosed with PCOS in January after suspecting i had it for a good couple of years. It took the doctor ages to acknowledge i was having problems (absent periods for 6 months at a time, weight gain, mood swings, excess hair, you know all the nice stuff) and even when i was diagnosed i was given no advice/ direction.

My aim is to shift 62 lbs (57 to go!) but it's not coming as easily as i had a hoped even though im exercising my *kitten* off and eating well. Any info about PCOS and weightloss, success stories, etc.


Would be greatly appreciated. Kinda feel like my doctor has left me in the dark here.

If you go to the message boards there is a search button...if you type in PCOS, a lot of good post and forums pop up Hope this helps!!!!! You can do it!
