Too much Fat

So I have been tracking my calories and it seems like I am having trouble staying under my fat goal. I eat a lot of nut butters, coconut oil/olive oil, salmon and avocado, so I know it's healthy fat, but does that matter? Is too much healthy fat going to impede my weight loss even if I'm staying at or under my calorie goal? Thanks in advance.

If it's MFP's default fat total, it's a minimum. I always treat mine that way. Fats are one thing I'm consistently over on. It will not effect your weight loss. Calorie deficit is the most important factor in weight loss. I would also make sure you're hitting your protein and fiber goals too, though health-wise. Macros and micros are important for overall health

If you're under your calorie goal? No, it won't affect weight loss. The issue is simply if you're eating that much fat, that's less protein and carbohydrates you're getting and missing out on those nutrients. It's possibly a health issue, but not a weight loss issue. You're probably fine there, anyway.0
