Question for those who USED to use HCG...

I want answers from people who have used HCG and NO LONGER DO! I want to know why you stopped, how long ago, how you felt it worked for you, if you were able to keep the weight off, etc. I'm not really interested in those who are currently using it since they can't prove it will stay off once they stop. I'm looking for "reviews" from people who have been off HCG for a few months or years and how they feel it worked (or didn't work) for them!

It worked for me! I lost on average about 1lb a day...and I ate anywhere from 700-900 calories a day...even though you are only suppose to eat 500-700.
The only reason I really quit taking it is because I forget to take it 3xs a day. It just got to be a hassel remembering.0 -
i see this advertised all over town especially on chiropractors buildings. i have not used it but am curious to see what others say will be following this post for sure. my question is does it work?0

I stopped because it affected my heart. My potassium level dropped so much I developed heart arrhythmia. I stopped “starving” immediately and began eating normally, and over the course of the day my heart rhythm evened out.
Several women in my office have done it, and have kept the weight off, but honestly, it’s about making a life style change… just a quick fix. Address the issues you have currently or the weight will come right back, probably more so.
I did the injections... I was on it 7 days, and lost 9 pounds.

Just keep practicing this montra
"There is no little magic pill" repeat this over and over until you stop questioning yourself if the "Little magic pill" exists.
I've never done it but after reading several books, columns, magazine articles from nutritionists and drs, I have decided its great for a quick fix (ie you need to drop a size in 3 weeks for your upcoming sister's wedding, etc) but for an overall lifetime change, this is not the answer

I did the shots at a docs office it was an 8 week program and I lost about 20 lbs those 8 weeks. I followed the diet most of the time only eating 600- 700 calories a day and I did not work out at all. That was in 2006 and since then of course I have gained it back bc I went back to normal eating and was not exercising. I gained it all back within 10 months. It does work if you are going to keep up a healthy eating routine with exercise if not I definitely would not waste your money.0
