See Progress, Over Eat.

I'm not sure if anyone else faces this problem.

I have been yoyo-ing for about 5 years and very frustrated with myself. Then I realised just a moment ago that I have been allowing myself to snack non-stop because I saw progress on the scale this morning. Seeing the number go down makes me feel like I could snack more than usual.

Anyone else facing this? Or have any idea to overcome this lack of discipline? :(

The only solution I could come out with is to weigh-in less. I understand that weight is just a number but my plan to is lose about 10kg then tone and maintain.

This is a mind game more than anything else. Convince yourself that you are going to be patient. Be in this lifestyle is for the long term. Once a week weigh-in is enough. Also, consider measuring yourself now when you start and again each month. Sometimes seeing inches go off is more rewarding than seeing weight on the scale going down. After you lose the weight, you will want to keep up whatever good practices you are developing now

I struggle with this I have learned that what helps me is the amount of water I drink, and picking healthier lighter snacks that fill you up and keep you full. For example instead of crackers and cheese that could end up being 175 cals. I go for let's say a salad with a couple T. Of light dressing that way you trick your mind into thinking your eating a lot! I hope this is helpful I am a Chef so I know about being around food constantly and controlling cravings is a key!!!
