Just curious if anyone has tried following the diet given to patients that have undergone gastric sleeve surgery without having the surgery? What kind of results did you have? Do you think it's maintainable? Comments? Tia.

What i know is those special diets are essentially very low calorie diet, requires rigorous follow up and bunch of supplements to maintain optimal health.
I guess one should not do that on ones own.0 -
I just did the "eat less, move more" diet.

People who have that surgery are supposed to be following rigorous followups with doctors to ensure that their health is optimal. The reason they have to do this is the low calorie diet like that is because your body isn't getting the macro/micro nutrients it needs often times.
So if you were thinking about doing it on your own I would suggest reading and following the suggestions posted here instead:
