Thank to every one for sharing, I met up with an old friend at party last weekend Feb/15. We were having a bit of banter between us & his wife. Turns out she runs 5k &10k, and he tried to run with her on the last 5k run &beat her in the last 50yards. Anyway they said something that I wont ever forget, " We're going to California this summer for a holiday with the kids, visiting relatives & stuff. While we're there we've signed up for a 5K charity run for a wounded police dog." Wow thats dedication for you, got me thinking about whether I should consider a 5K run? Maybe add it to MY BUCKET LIST.0

1. Get to sing at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado! (I was born in CO, and have sung there once just on a whim/ during a hike. I was 13 and sang the National Anthem which my mother recorded from a tape player at the top. I'd like to revisit it, but as a grown woman, and hopefully with a full band set up and my friends and family in the stands!)
2. Watch my son graduate from College (lol - He's in 5th grade now, but College!!!!)
3. Finish my degree and graduate from college.
4. Be paid for singing.
5. Visit Australia
6. Live in a foreign country for a period of time (Non- US).
7. Look as sexy as I feel....maybe this one should be higher in the list. IDK.0 -

Bucket lists are a different kettle of fish when you realize you actually need one. I've given a lot of thought to mine.... it's hard to make one. Tangible things become less important than the time spent with people.
I want to have grandchildren (the kids are working on that ) and spend as much time as possible with them as I can.
I want to see my sisters as much as I can (they live in different states)
I missed out with my dad (he died this December) so I'm aiming to spend more time with my mom.
I want to see my extended family more.
I want to road trip with my husband on our motorcycle as much as we can in the summer.
I want to appreciate the beauty of the world. It really is a lovely planet.0 -

2. Climb Mt. Rainier.
3. Hike from a US National Park to a Canadian National Park (specifically Glacier National Park to Waterton Lakes National Park). *Ideal route identified, seeking partner and schedule opportunity, which probably won't happen for 2-3 years.0 -

I like the fact that all these are achievable, and I believe that at some point in your life you will all achieve them plus much much more. If you don't dream then why bother, just stay in the rat race. Have a dream, a goal, a bucket list, and aim to achieve it.0
