One Month In - Need better results...

I am 36, 5'3 and just had my 2nd (and last) baby in March. With my pregnancy I topped out at 185 lbs. 2 months later, my current weight is 156. Goal weight of 130.

I started JM Body Revolution one month ago, so I work out 5-6 days per week. I have lost 2lbs, 2 inches from waist, and a 1/2 inch from hips. So there has been some results, but I really thought it would be a little better than this. I was hoping for a pound a week. Could I just be retaining some water or possibly building muscle?

Any tips on how to get better results?

    Hi

Congratulations on your achievements after the baby birth.

I suggest you manage your expectations. You did not gain all the body weight in 3 months (even with the pregnancy). You are making progress on your body shape. Body weight is just one metric.

You have decreased waist and hips. YAY !.

Please continue with your nutrition plan and your exercise. Continue eating at a deficit (calories burned > calories ingested).
After more body weight loss, start lifting weights to help you body shaping and gaining more muscle. Up your protein intake.

Good luck in your healthy journey

If you lost 2 inches from your waist I bet you have lost more than 2 pounds of fat. It is likely being offset from water retention in your muscles due to elevated activity from your workout. You are not gaining muscle mass though.
