Preparing smoothies ahead of time

I put a lot of stuff in my smoothies so I started preparing the jars ahead of time, then just adding the cold/wet ingredients when I am ready to blend and drink. I put 5 things in there; acai powder, chia seeds, powdered wheat grass, protein powder, hemp seeds. I add yogurt and orange juice in the morning.
Does anyone else do this, and am I missing anything else healthy to put in my smoothie? I don't want to add flax; I have that for lunch.
Thanks.

That's a lot of stuff in there...
I just keep it pretty simple and add in some frozen berries (Kirkland brand from Costco, Blueberries, Marionberries and Raspberries), a banana and a bunch of ice. I got pretty hooked on the Naked juices and was just drinking those but ever since I found out there were owned by Pepsi I decided I would wean myself off that. Right now I just use 4 ounces each of Naked Green Machine and Protein Smoothie as the base for a 32 ounce shake.
Thinking of switching over to apple or orange juice for the base but haven't found a good source for them that isn't all concentrated sugars.
I'd love to get some veggies in there but not sure what the easiest would be to add without killing the taste too much... maybe a few carrots.0 -
the orange juice I use has extra calcium and vitamin d. just drinking juices seems wasteful to me - mine is basically a protein shake.0

What protein powder are you using? I made the mistake of getting some that had WAY too much vanilla flavoring and I just haven't enjoyed it at all. If I could find one that went well with the fruit I'd love to balance things out a little more in favor of protein vs. sugars.0

I use something called "amazing grass superfood" it is powdered greens and other nutrients. It gives me a ton of energy. I love it.
It has wheat grass plus other greens, so maybe something to consider after you run out of wheat grass.0 -
I not only grow wheat grass but yes, I have that same Superfood powder that you do!
I'm fine with my vanilla protein powder. There's so much other stuff in there, I can't discern any specific taste, really. I use spirutean; it's pea protein.0 -
I just ordered powdered beets, powdered carrots, and powdered Goji berries on Amazon; to add to orange juice. How delicious is that going to be !!!0
