Anybody lose their cankles?

So I'm on week three of my weight loss journey 6lbs down. I have always had bigger ankles even when thinner (never healthy thin though) and I'm wondering, will I lose my cankles? Should I focus more on adding muscle to my calves to make them look thinner.
Here are my ankles now.

I know that there aren't really any muscles but just tendons in the ankles so I just am wondering what to expect.
I'm currently 224lbs 5'10 goal weight of 150

    I don't have any before pics of my cankles when I weighed almost 300 lbs - but YES...they go away.

    One thing that I found helped me a lot was lowering my sodium intake. And I became a runner over the course of two years. I now have slim and pretty ankles.

    I found I lost weight in my ankles and wrists really quickly into my weight-loss. Kind've bummed me out considering the tummy was the main place I wanted it to go. XD

    I don't think I had cankles before, but I definitely lost fat there. I have a hard time buying shoes with ankle straps because the last hole for the strap is too loose.
