I am a 45 yo female who is currently training for my first 1/2 in July. I weight 138 (5'6") and have been stable at this weight for over 2 years. I would like to drop to 130 (for the race) and started seriously tracking my food intake almost 2 months ago w/o any loss. I lift 2x week (circuit 30mins), run 4x week (3 4 milers, 1 long run, currently 8 miles) and walk 3 miles 2 days a week. 2 rest days, although I may hike on those days. My diary is open and I am open to suggestions. Also, how much protein should I be eating? I'm usually within MFP's recommendations, but think I may need to up my intake. Trying to quit the Diet coke and drink more water. Thanks for your insights.

Increase your protein to 25% or 30% to preserve your muscles and make sure you eat your exercise calories back (well, at least half if you're using MFP numbers).0
