I used to be 430 Pounds

Is there anyone else that has almost reached their end goal but the last 50 hasn't come off? I am going for it, just really stinks to have accomplished so much and still you don't feel good enough.... Society judges and dating is rough even in this body!.... Sorry I don't have a perfect body and yes I used to be Huge....no I won't ever be in that body again. No one wants to be 400 pounds, but it happens and no one knows what it's like unless you have been there. Getting sidetracked .....sorry

Would be awesome to help motivate others and find support to reach my end goal. 50 pounds in 5 months..... Pushing hard to celebrate my 40th birthday with an amazing gift to myself! The Finish Line!

I never said it would be easy but it will be worth it

Congrats on all your awesome progress so far. The last bit is always the hardest but dont let society skew what you think looks good and what doesn't.

I need to lose 40-50lbs...and I can't even seem to get a pound off...exercise is hard for me right now bc im recovering from heart surgery a few months ago (longer recovery than I expected)...You should be soooo proud of yourself for your accomplishments! That is such a great thing you have done for yourself. I wish you lots of luck on your last 50lbs by your birthday! You can do it.

Well done! Looking at your photo it is difficult to believe you still need to lose another 50.

I'm not there (yet) but I just wanted you to know there are others. I was 475 at my heaviest, and darn near dead. I reached a loss of 200 lbs just this morning, leaving me another 100 for my personal goal. The doctors think I can only lose another 75, maybe. Sounds like a challenge to me!

Yes, society does judge, but now it seems to me, that I still judge myself harsher than anyone else judges me. I've been blessed with a lot of support from coworkers, friends, and finally even my family is starting to believe.

Good luck to you! I'm sure you will find someone that can work with you on that last 50 lbs!

    Yeah - me!

Funnily enough, I just posted some progress pictures under "success stories" (1 year anniversary) and I still want to lose about another 50LBS until I am happy with my weight overall!

Good job on the weight loss, too. I know how hard it can be!

That's awesome! Thank you it does get easier, I settled for 7 years maintaining what I lost but finally decided to get an exercise routine started...I joined the gym. Wish I would have done it soon. I did get my plastic surgery on my stomach....that was life changing too! Keep pushing....happy to hear the success stories :)

Thank you, never give up and your doing awesome! Don't be so hard on yourself... It's good to be straight but acknowledge your major success and give yourself credit....., you lost a person like me :). Crazy and after awhile you forget what it was like living in that old body but you remind yourself because you have to! I wish you luck too :)

Thank you, just don't give up hope and believe you will get through this recovery and will look back as a much stronger person. I admire you that is some scary stuff but we have great doctors these days..... They saved my life with my gastric bypass for sure!!!
Do the best you can and take one day at a time. Be proud of yourself .....your a survivor :)
