strength training versus cardio...

okay so when i go to the gym i do a ton of cardio and it counts whenever i put it in on my exercise diary... but when i put in the pushups or arm machine i did for cardio it doesnt count for my calories.. ? why is this?? i see some people's profiles that say so and so burned 300 calories doing strength training. why wont mine ??

you have to add it under the cardio tab, not the strength training one.0

In your exercise diary (cardio tab), search for "strength training". It will show up. Click on it and type in the amt of minutes you worked out.0

As someone else mentioned, you have to add it under cardio -> strength training. It helps if you wear a heart rate monitor to figure out your calorie burn estimate for the allotted time.0
