Went to my first exercise class in probably six months! Did Zumba, and after explaining to the instructor before class started that "I probably won't be able to keep up" and "I'll probably have to leave early," I kept up, AND I didn't have to leave early!
Definitely chose the low impact option, but I DID THE WHOLE CLASS! Probably helps that I now have 19.2 fewer pound to drag around the studio, LOL.

I'm scared to do zumba...scared Ill look like a fool. I see a lot of people in there dancing all good and stuff. lol :blushing:

I need to get some courage from you and do it then! There is always so many people in the class and mirrors everywhere hard not to look at myself. Ever since I did yoga, been a little shy. It took all I had not to laugh at myself during this quiet, serene class. lol
I shall conquer it one day.
Edit: I just realized that my few post above may have came across discouraging. So sorry. Was not my intentions. I just been wanting to try Zumba for so long and recently was joking around with a trainer at the gym how I would have to look at videos first before I do it because I'm insecure about it. Wasn't meant to discourage. I'm envious that you did it. Again I apologize if I came across negatively. :flowerforyou:0 -

I've been preparing for weeks, by walking around the mall (when needing rest, stopping to buy clothes), and walking to the mall up the street (when needing rest, stopping to buy low-fat frozen yogurt), to build up stamina (and a new wardrobe). I understand the insecurity, and once you are ready I am sure that you will do it.
