So I'm trying to lose about 5 pounds. I'm starting small but hoping to go bigger. To the people who have succeeded in losing weight what are the best exercises to do? What are the best and worst foods to eat? I've heard so many different things and it's all confusing.

Hey! I've been on MFP for a while (old account) and I don't have a lot to lose so here's what I've done in the past two months to lose 10ish pounds. I do resistance training like crunches etc daily and biking along with some low impact cardio like dancing. As for food? I don't swear anything off unless you're a vegetarian or something. I just say, follow the portion sizes.
My two tips are 1) pre-log your food and have it portioned to avoid going from 1 serving to 4 servings (really easy with pasta haha) 2) visit the forums on MFP regularly- it has friendly people, tips, recipes, and overall makes the site stand out!
