Before i started my fitness pal, i didn't count calories but i also didn't lose lbs persay. There was a drastic change in my body but the scale would not move until i joined this site.
I believe i was eating more cals than i was burning but does eating more cals build muscle if you workout ?

You do need to eat more calories then just your average 'weight loss plan' calories in order to build muscle and lose fat, but you also need to find a balance where you are nott eating too many calories and then negating the fat burning potential of your workout. Maintenance calories are perfect (as set by this site) if you're aren't trying to lose 'weight' but are trying to burn fat and put on muscle.
It's worked for me! :-)0
