last 9lbs and stuck for 2 weeks

hey so i'm in the last 9lbs and was just wondering if anybody had any tips for these final weeks? (let's hope it's weeks!!! :p)

i can't really net any less (netting 1350 or under at the moment) but i'm eating anywhere up to 2,500 as I'm a university athlete as well as a runner in my spare time and I lift weights.

I work out 5-6 times a week with 1 full day of rest usually. I eat mainly cleanly and log everything very accurately with a scale.

I haven't lost anything for 2 weeks. I know it's meant to be a marathon, not a sprint and I'm prepared to take the time.

I suppose what I'm asking is

1. would a "re-feed" help - or is this more for competition level bodybuilders?
2. would eating more help? I don't believe in starvation mode simply because my mum was anorexic and she definitely did not eat more to lose weight...i believe that you have to be in a deficit
3. any other ideas or tips that can help me get back on the trail to losing my last 9? :))

thanks for any help!

I'm no expert but I've noticed weight loss isn't linear and 2 weeks isn't long, personally I would keep doing what you're doing for another 2 weeks then if you still haven't lost then rethink, but it bet you will lose.
Also the last few pounds comes off slower, you might have lost half a pound and the scales just aren't showing it yet.
    Good luck

The last 9lbs should take about 10-18 weeks to be frank. Not what you wanted to hear.

If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal

2 weeks isn't unusual....at this point you should be upping calories slowly to maitenance and the weight loss will slow.

It took me 3 weeks to lose my last pound.

Just be patient...start reverse dieting and live life.

Yes...50-100 calories each day for a week or two...then another 50-100...

That way your body is not shocked when you hit maitenance and you get that extra 5lbs of water weight that comes with upping quickly..

That is why I do 50 a day for 2 weeks...I was going up 100 and I started retaining water and my last pound stuck around for 3 weeks...

losing 1/2lb a week is a good goal with 9lbs left...even 3/4lb would be good...
