So I was at the gym the other night around dinner time and I was nearing the end of my work out and doing abs. (All of the abs equipment is near where the check in and membership desks are.) And someone on the gym staff was eating McDonald's at their desk about 6 feet away from the abs area. It make the whole area smell like McDonalds. Seriously, you think they would have a rule about staff eating McDonalds, especially at the abs area.

You'd think they would have a staff room where they can eat! Hopefully you resisted! McDonalds is

At my gym sometimes around the holidays people bring cookies and lay them out and one instructor actually sells cakes on the side! It totally cracks me up! AVOID at all cost :) Could you hear their arteries clogging while they ate it :)?

I would say something. You have a right to work out without "smell pollution."

I have to bite my tongue every time I fly. It's just another horrible development since 9/11 along with taking shoes off and confiscating hand lotion...EVERYONE on the plane with their gross, greasy, stinky bags of fast food.

If somebody sitting next to me has it, I always cringe.

I've become "Crazy Carrot Sticks Lady" who spends her time glaring at people with their super size fries!! Lord help me...

Well, at lease while you are munching on your carrot sticks, THEY might be becoming super-sized and not able to fit in one seat after awhile!!!!

OMG, that is so funny! I was eating carrot sticks last night and glaring at my husband because he made himself cheesy, greasy nachos and I was so jealous. He laughed and said he was proud of me and impressed that I was sticking with the carrots.

I had the same exact experience last week. The 'boy' at the desk was downing his fries as he checked people in - ridiculous!!

 You should have strolled over to the desk, stopped, and then passed gas and see how they appreciated eating while smelling THAT.....of course, you could never go back to that gym

I would have been so mad, but in a way, you are better than that. Did you go get some McD's after? Probably not because you are motivated. Good For you! :flowerforyou:

No McD's for me. I don't think I've been there in over a year?

I still like the smell of their fries. I think that makes me weird.
