Just bought a weight set! super excited!

I have been telling my husband that I want to try lifting heavy. I have a desk job and need to lose weight and get in shape. I have been steadily losing one pound a week since I started at the beginning of April. I have read all of the great posts about lifting and have been itching to start. I have been doing cardio and machines at PF but if this works out like I feel it will then I will probably cancel my membership. There is no way I could afford a new set but have been looking at craigslist off and on and found what looks to be a decent set for $150. Has way more weights than I will ever be able to use-at least I think so! Wish me luck!!
