Found a fitbit

My dad found a fitbit in a car park, is there any way of finding who owns it? Or if not is there any way of me being able to use it? Will it be synced to that account and not be able to be changed. I would like to return it though if possible, they cost a fortune for what they are.

People post Lost and Found messages on the Fitbit forums all the time - somebody would probably appreciate it if you tried that step.
I think you could use it if you can't find the owner, but I think you'd need a Fitbit synch dongle.0 -
I would suggest sending an email to fitbit. They may be able to identify who lost it. They probably have the best costumer service of any company I have dealt with. (When I lost mine they sent a free replacement in less than a week.)0
