Deadlift vs Hip thrust

Ok so I currently added hip thrust to my leg day routine, I realised it hits d butt straight up. I have been doing deads and adding the hip thrust. Should I just quit dead for the hip thrust or continue doing both 50/50 ? Anybody else doing similar? What have been your results since you started adding hip thrust? How does your butt look like now?
My typical leg day consists of squats, lunges, deads and currently adding hip thrust and leg raises.
Pls share

Do both. I added hip thrusters and they are awesome, they hit the glutes harder than any other exercise

Do both! Deadlifts works more than your butt, it works your abs, legs and back. Hip thrusts focuses more on the butt and legs portion. Love both. :)

I do both. Like others have said, they target different things. My sore lower back has been loving the hip thrusts! The stronger I get, the less I hurt. :)

I would do both. Hip Thrusts and barbell glute bridges are great lifts and really target the glut muscles.

Both, deads are one of if not the best compound exercise.

How much weight/reps are you doing of each to want to do all of those?

Do both. I do hip thrusts as an accessory on squat day, and I do back squats as an accessory on deads day.

I do Deadlifts on one of my Upper Body lifting days and Barbell Hip Thrusts on Legs day.

Thrusts are my main lift and I always follow with a squat/squat variation and a deadlift/posterior chain exercise. Just do it all!

I do hip thrusts on both my squat and deadlift days as an accessory.
