Just make sure you are drinking LOTS of water with the extra fiber.. because too much fiber with not enough water can cause constipation! And it can be the kind that you described.. where you don't feel constipated, but know you are because you haven't had regular BM's. I know because this happened to me. UP your water intake drastically!0

This is such a frustrating issue for me. I deal with poop a lot at work as well, so also have no shame, but this bm thing is my bug a boo. :frown:
I am the queen of fruits and veggies, I regularly bring a kale salad for lunch and usually get in 4-5 or more servings a day. Granted I usually get in only about a liter plus exercise water in a day, and that's an improvement for me, but geez, you'd think I'd be more regular! When I cut out gluten for a while I was having regular bms without laxatives and wasn't bloated, but it seems like everytime I get glutenized I start all over and I'm starting to wonder when else I can do besides being a senna addict. I've seen a doc but all we know is thyroid tests and laxatives :grumble: I should be trying shakeology soon, I will also return to dried figs since I think I was into those last time I was doing well, as well as upping my water.
The next time I hit a pooping sweet spot I'm gonna journal it on mfp so I know exactly what in did to trigger it :blushing:
Any other tricks?
Thanks

i am a nursing student so i think i can answer this one!! everyone has different movements, and what will be normal to you will not be normal to someone else...what matters is the consistancy..if you google "stool chart" youll see the different types, somewhere in the middle is what your stools should look like...if they dont then you could be constipated! but this is normal due to change in your diet, your body needs time to adust to the changes you are making...drink plenty of water and maybe take a natural laxative, something containing senna...and give it maybe a month before you start worrying0
