Wereables: Which one to use in water?

Hi there! I'm a fairly new member and I want to congratulate the magnificent work you all do to maintain this community
I do a lot of exercise every week so I want to ask for opinion in this forum regarding "wereables" such as the Fixbit, Jawbone or Nike Fuelband, I've been looking into the last three but the information is unclear if it works well and detects the movement in water.
The thing is that I want a band (or such) that i can wear at any times and can use in the following situations:
. Swimming in the sea or swimming pool
. In a Kayak
. Running
. Biking
. Sleeping (but this last point is secondary)
Also, I walk a lot during the day so if the band could measure my kcal or steps every day it would be fantastic.
And, if possible, I would like to add the data collected to a Journal so I could keep the information offline. But this is secondary as well.
Which of the gadgets you know that can fulfill my needs? Could you give me more information?
Thank You very much in advance.

Most of the devices on the market are sweat proof (to an extent) but are not able to be used when swimming. The only one that I know of that is able to be used with swimming is the Misfit Shine. I don't have one myself but the reviews that I've read put them on par with the fuel band, fitbit, and body media devices. Most of the other ones you can manually log your swims and it'll give you calorie credit for it.0

The fitbit flex can be used in water down to a depth of 10 meters. The main problem with any of these is that they record activity based on the vibrations caused by the feet hitting the ground. Some activities like swimming and kayaking may have to be entered manually and you won't get credit for steps taken, but you will get credit for calories burned.0

I love my Misfit Shine. It is waterproof and it claims to be one of the best for tracking swimming. I don't swim so I cannot promise anything!
Currently, mfp does not sync with the Shine...0
