Because it is bad. Log your calories and stay under every day. I know for me consistancy is the only way I can make it work, its pretty important stuff not to take lightly.

This is not true at all. Don't tell people that...esp without knowing any history or looking at their diary. This young woman is eating typically less than 1200 calories a day...

Going over goal is not bad...don't feel guilty.

If you are still in a weekly deficit you are fine. The only downfall could be your weight loss will slow down

You are at 1300 calories...and are consistently under 1200 calories.

this wont even slow you down from what I can see....

Look at my diary yesterday....I was even over maitenance...doesn't matter. I wont gain weight from one day...or even two days.

I am still under my weekly goal and have lots of wiggle room.

However you don't log consistently..that may hinder you tho.

I'm a self confessed chronic binger. I'm sometimes into the red by near or double my daily allowance. With that in mind I set my daily cals higher than the 1200 recommended by MFP & slightly lower than my TDEE. I log all my exercise at burns as 1 as I can't stick to eating back 50-75%. However I generally find that over a weekly or fortnightly period my intake balances out & I still generally stay at a deficit.

Its admittedly not a great method but as you can see from my ticker it works for me. OP a lot of people stagger their intake across the week rather than daily maybe that would work for you. Don't fret if you go into the red bar of doom it's not the end of the world. Progress and losses may be slower but so long as you still get there in the end.
