Went hog wild

These last two days I probably lost a week of progress in my diet. Yesterday I had 1/2 a large loaf of bread and 4 cheese enchiladas, while today I had a large S'mores Blizzard from Dairy Queen and the remaining 1/2 of bread. I feel really defeated and really disappointed in myself, because I'm already 5 lbs down. I've been eating 1200 calories each day...but these last two days I probably ate 5,000 calories.

Maybe you binged because youre hungry from eating just 1200 a day? It might be better to eat a little more each day and incorporate some treats in your daily plan that fit your macros. How did you come up with 1200 as your daily target? Its a bit low for most people....0

Probably why. I'm a 5'1 female, so that's what the estimate was.0 -
I stuck to 1100 a day for my weight loss, but it was part of a doctor prescribed plan where I had appetite suppressors to help me. I don't recommend the pills, really, but without them I know I could not have stuck to even 1200 a day very easily! Maybe wean your way down to that number? The doctor got 1100 for me by cutting down what I was normally getting per day by 1/3, and maybe that would work for you, too, at least to start.
But anyway, don't beat yourself up about it- there's no point. I overeat sometimes, too, but remind myself that even if I did gain something back, I know how to lose it, and it is not the end of the world. Just get your goals back in sight and feel confident that you can reach them!0 -

How much do you weigh though? 1200 usually represents an aggressive target for most people.
Part of the journey will have to include improving your relationship with food. Noone can avoid delicious treats forever, so a nice way around that is to allow for a smaller portion of what you like so that you are less likely to crave and then binge.0
