Yes! Kettlebells are one of my favorite workouts and I have had great results, you get a great full body workout that is both cardio and weight training (not many workouts out there actually count as both!). What weight are you using, I am currently using 10 and 15 lbs bells.

weight training can easily be cardio with enough reps. For some lifters all they have to do is just lighten their load... So what you are saying is not necessarily true.

OMG everyone on here has to argue about everything it is seriously insane, I have not been able to post one thing with out someone saying something argumentative. All I mean is most traditional cardio "type" exercises such as running, cardio video routines, HIIT training, kickboxing, ect don't usually include a strength element. I completely agree that strength training can be great cardio, I never said it wasn't, I didn't say kettlebells are the ONLY form of exercise that is both cardio and strength training, so I am not sure what part of what I said isn't true?? I was just trying to be helpful and supportive of the poster, so if you don't have anything to add that helps the person who asked the question I am not sure why you would comment in the first place.

Right now the weight is falling off - but I`m training for a kettle bell lifting competition so I`m cranking out 300 snatches with a 35 - 45 lb bell 3 times a week - way more than most people would do !

On saying that - Kettlebells are GREAT tools - if you love the workouts - they will work because you will do them - just learn correct form

Thanks for all the response :)
And let's agree to chill out! We're all in this together!

I've only been using 5lbs kettlebell because, well, I am a beginner and weak! lol. I tried using the 10lbs kettlebell yesterday for a couple exercises but it was too heavy for all of the video.
The video boasts "lose 5lbs in a week"... I wish!
