My favorites as a kid (and still to this day):

1. Oscar the Grouch
(I think mean is funny. Oscar might explain why I was a such a mean little thing).

2. Grover
(He is just hilarious).

3. Cookie Monster
(He made me believe that it was okay to eat 12 Oreos in one sitting. This might explain why I was a fat kid).
