determined to sort out my eating habits

Hi!
I am Jo and I have been struggling with my weight for a while now. I'm overweight, not by a huge amount (about 10kg) but I have a very difficult relationship with food which I am trying to address. It all seems to come down to not being able to look after myself and see myself as important and therefore eating badly and stuffing myself with junk food. Which doesn't make my confidence any better and it is a very difficult cycle.
In order to get back on track I have joined MFP again.I didn't find it successful before but I wasn't fully invested in changing my habits and after a while just didn't log each day mostly because I knew I had eaten more than I should have.
I'ma believer 100% in moderation, balance and not giving anything up so I want to ensure I stay within that while trying to address my dependence on junk food.
I find it hardest during the week as I eat breakfast (cereal) early at 7am and then I am hungry again by 9am and then spend the entire day hungry even though I take snacks to work with me. I also struggle then when I get home at 6pm as I am hungry so eat toast as a snack and then never really eat a proper dinner and just snack.
Weekends are much better and I tend to eat less overall.
I've been suffering with a back injury for over a year and still have a lot of pain that affects my ability to excersise- I used to be a pretty hard core runner but have had to limit that to once or maybe twice a week, find it hard to motivate myself to do other things instead but am trying. I suspect a bit of weight loss won't hurt my back problem either!
I am hoping that keeping the diary will help to motivate me and see the longer term goal of being fit and healthy.
Thanks
