Going in circles! !

Why is it so easy to just adjust your diet and yet so very hard? I have been spending tons of time and money buying produce and blenders and tubberware... juicing.. prepping..detox waters...home workout equipment. Shots of vinegar...The whole 9. I get extremely prepared and motivated. . A week in I'm feeling great...tummy flattening...energetic. Then someone has a birthday party or barbecue ..and I'm like heck... I've been good all week what's one meatball sandwich. Then 2 swigs of Pepsi later I'm feeling bloated sluggish and ashamed. I skip the gym and mindlessly fall right off the wagon.
I love seeing and feeling results. .. I enjoy healthy foods and working out. ..I have no clue why I indulge so easily and lose my mind.
What keeps you CONSISTENT? What's the secret?? I've been going through this for 2 years. Drop 20 gain 25 over and over.

    You've isolated the problem.

    Find a solution.

Do not just assume you've been good. Instead, figure out how many calories you have left to stay on track for the week and monitor your intake at these events.

Sounds like your trying to change too much. To lose weight all you need is a calorie deficit. You don't need Detox waters that don't work or shots of vinegar you don't have to live off salads or special foods. Just eat your normal diet but control portions and try and make it balanced with a good mixture of proteins and fruit and veg. Don't deprive yourself have the occasional cake or pepsi or whatever just fit it into your daily goals. Food is not evil or bad it's just food

As for exercise fins something you like. you'll only keep up with it if you enjoy it be that weights, running, Dancing or skate boarding just anything that you enjoy.

Sounds like there's no middle ground. Your either really good or your really bad. For some people being extreme works, but others need to find that balance.

Sounds like maybe you need more moderation in your life. People often have a hard time sticking to a plan that requires a complete lifestyle overhaul. As mentioned above, all you need for weight loss is... a calorie deficit.

You mentioned investing time, energy, and money into blenders, juicing, detox waters, and vinegar. I have never used any of that to lose weight. Just eat food you like, log everything you eat and drink accurately and consistently, fit it into your calorie goal for the day, and find exercises and activities you like to do. If you want to have long-term, sustainable success, you have to find a way of eating and exercising that you are happy to maintain for the rest of your life. My guess is that you don't want to juice, detox, or take shots of vinegar forever, so you'll probably want to reconsider your plan.

Yep. Lifestyle changes are hard. No need to make them harder if you look at things like a meatball sandwich and a Pepsi as a reward. Though why Pepsi is considered a reward, I'll never understand. JK - I am a Coke fan, through and through. And I still have them when they fit in my numbers.
