Sugar vs Honey

So, I like to "sweeten" my tea and oatmeal. I bought some honey today...I figured "natural" was better. But the calorie content is the same....which does everyone use? Reasons why you prefer one over the other?

I use whatever I'm in the mood for... I like brown sugar in my oatmeal, honey in my tea- I mostly use fake sweeteners because they're calorie free (yes, I know - the world says they're bad for me but I use them anyway) Rarely do I use white sugar, because it just doesn't have any "flavor" besides sweet.0

I like brown sugar in my oatmeal too. I have just had a lot of people tell me honey is better than sugar...and I just wondered. I make toast with peanut butter, banana and honey and it is so good too. Very very filling!!!0

Sugars are not equal.
Yes, a calorie is a calorie, but you have to take into account how the body will process it. Processed sugars do not need the body to do anything to it, and it goes straight into fat if the body doesn't burn it with a work out.
Natural sugars have to be processed by the body into glucose which actually burns some calories to use it.0
