I know it's sorta a silly question but eh I don't find myself very confident when I go out due to my weight even with my weight loss, I have another 40 pounds to go before I'm finished and I hate the way I look in the mirror still.

I mean people tell me how much better I look but I don't see a huge difference, I see my face has slimmed a bit and I have dropped a pant size but I just don't see a change that makes me really happy?

Personally, it took completing a very large goal to start being confident. For me, it was doing a 5 mile obstacle course that made me go "holy spit, I just did something fit people do."
Did you take a before picture? It might be good to see where you came from. Wear some of the baggy clothes and be like "damn, fat used to fill these."

Yeah I can barely keep my pants up now when they use to be pretty tight on me.
the mirror has become my worst enemy.

So here's the truth, you are young and most people are insecure and self loathing in their youth.

Most of the time young folks feel even worse about themselves because they think everyone else is so confident and secure with their life.

    They aren't.

For most people confidence is just an act that they eventually grow into. Fortunately for you it really is all in your head. If you decide to act like an attractive young guy who likes himself others are going to believe that's who you are and eventually that is who you become.

So stop hating on the mirror. You're the only one who can change your mind!
