Sitting all day long + calorie deficit = weight gain??

I'm not sure where this post should go but here will do? Haha.
With exams looming, I've literally been on my *kitten* studying all day. Even for 9-5vers I guess this is relevant too. But anyhow, I try to eat at a bit of a deficit because I know I'm inactive all day. For example, today I've only eaten a cottage cheese wrap as my breakfast AND lunch - and it has seriously filled me up to the point where I feel bloated... I think the lack of movement has removed all my hunger.
So the question is - do you still gain weight sitting on your bum all day, but still eating at a deficit? I feel that this "full sensation" in my stomach is a sign I will gain weight =="
Of course, I'll eat dinner afterwards - but will it cause me to gain weight having been inactive all day?
PS. i am aware of the health risks of sitting all day.. but just curious as to this question! Thankyouuuu

If you are eating food and maintaining a caloric deficit then you are by definition burning calories so I don't understand your question. Yes, sitting on your butt you burn a lot of calories...over the course of the day your body is going to burn a lot more calories just staying alive then you are likely to ever burn exercising unless you exercise extremely.0
