A lost day

Yesterday was sort of a "lost day" (sigh).

A friend came over and even though he knew I was dieting brought strawberry short-cake. Things went downhill from there. :(

Fortunately when I weighed myself this morning my weight had not changed and I'm starting right in again.

Unlike previous diets I've been on, I am thinking of this one as a "day to day" diet because there are no "bonus calories" spread throughout the week, and exercise calories disappear the same day.

So each day is actually starting anew, which I am doing today.

    Good for you , Doug!! plus strawberry shortcake is a lighter dessert and many see it as a healthy alternative to strawberry cheesecake!! =]

    This happens Doug!! I am new here but I am thinking that there is days like this for all of us!! And if you are going to indulge in something, it might as well be strawberry short cake--YUMMM!!

    I figure as long as you track it and keep your head up and move on, you will be just fine.

    It is nice that the tracking, food, and excercise starts over every day. One "lost day" is just that, one day.
