Back Injury?

I was doing some light 'strongman' training with my BF yest and was doing a 20kg plate shoulder press. however when i wen to press it my back arched and gave a rather horrible click. It was a bit sore but not horrendous and as that was my last lift i didnt do anymore. however today my back is very sore in the area where it clicked, i have a carido boot camp training session this evening and am wondering if its a good idea to train or not? The pain in my back is worse when i stand up straight and lessens when i stretch and arch my back as if to touch my toes. The pain isnt muscle pain it feels as though i have been hit in the back by something.
I really don't want to miss training but don't want to aggrivate a back injury, i was thinking i could go and just not push myself to hard?
Thoughts please?

i would take the day off, back injuries arent something to be taken lightly. definitely seek a chiropractor if it persists0
