Hello all! I've been using myfitnesspal for a couple of weeks now, but hadn't gotten into the forum part. I really love the food and exercise trackers! I think I've found every product I tried to look up in the database. I've started going to the gym again, and I love being able to record my exercise and calories burned. I'm a 55 year old mom and retired teacher. I currently weigh 233 (lost 3 pounds this week!!) and my goal weight is 150. I haven't seen that weight in 25 years. I already feel a lot better just from being more active and eating better.

Welcome! You will get a lot of support here :)
  • Hi All -

I am trying to recuperate from a L-1 compression fracture and nursing a meniscus knee issue. And not gaining more weight since I've had to be careful with exercise and weight lifting in daily living. I've been told I can walk on the treadmill, slowly with no raise in incline. I've been walking @ 2.5 for 1/2 hr with knee support on bad knee. Sometimes that's even too much. Frustrating.
