Im NEW To This!

Hi! Im Teneal , im 21 years old. Ive been over weight mostly all my life. i weigh 230lbs and i want to shed down to at least 170. I think this a great way to count my calories and etc. Has this help any of you with weight loss? Just Looking For someone to help me through this.

    Been on and off for a while but really stuck logging for the last week or so. I've found it a blessing because it helps me realise what amount of crap I was sticking into my body in terms of calorific foods. I can look at portion sizes and control what I eat without feeling deprived of what I really like and still have them in moderation. This for me is a lifestyle change.

    I've been here a couple of years now. This time I'm determined not to wander away! I lost 42 pounds the first time I was here so it definitely works! It's easy to do, takes up very little time and the first time I did it, I lost weight without exercising for a fair bit before realising I could exercise as well! It had been so long since I'd done anything cos I was so out of shape and losing it without having to was a marvel! It's awesome here, the support of people and the encouragement is just astounding! :D Welcome to MFP! :D
  • Well what should i do for exercise? There Are No Gyms around me and im currently not working. Could This mess me up?
