Fit Bit Flex Question

Any fitbit users? How do I log the calories I burned during an activity without adding extra calories burned?
For example an HRM you can start and stop the time and see how many calls you burned and then you log.
With the fitbit flex it seems like it is constantly logging your calls burned all day but when I add an activity can it log under the activity "Zumba"?
I hope my question makes sense...

When you record the start and stop time of your activity it will override what FitBit gave you for that same time.0

^^This. I usually go with what Fitbit calculates unless it's the elliptical or cycling. MFP tends to estimate high and I like to be conservative.0
