I know better than to get into details here, not that I care to anyways. But I broke up with my boyfriend of 4 years this morning and it SUCKS. It was the right decision, but that doesn't make it any easier.

I just feel overwhelmed because it was his house, so now I have to find a new place that is wheelchair accessible for the gentleman that I take care of.

What a day. I'm sure tomorrow will look brighter.

    A break up is never easy. A break up after 4 years of time and emotional investment is very, very hard. Hopefully you are in a position to be able to look for a new place soon or he is understanding enough to not just throw you out on your duff after 4 years. A break up doesn't always have to mean you can't be friends, it just means that you are better not being together. I just broke up with my boyfriend of almost 5 years a couple weeks ago and until I can get a second job, we are going to still be under the same roof. Some days are harder than other, but in the end it will be much better for both of us as it will also hopefully be better for you. :flowerforyou:

    It takes some time to get over the relationship. Give yourself that.

    In the meantime, you need to focus on finding someplace to live.
