Runners - i need your help and advice

There was a time in my life (up to early 20's!) when i could run for miles on end and only stop because i was bored. However in the last 10 years I have had pain in my right knee. I purchased trainers for over pronators but this seemed to make things a bit worse - i persevered on the advice of the store owner, which was a bad idea!!!

I have noticed that when i run and walk, my right foot turns out a fair bit. I am assuming that a lot of the problems are due to this. When i stand correctly with my feet parallel and perform a squat, it seems that i do overpronate, my feet fall inwards and my kness move towards each other. If I force my feet not to fall in then I can perform a squat perfectly.

My question is whether anybody knows of a good book with exercises etc which will help me to correct my problems? I would love to have a good running style and be injury free!!! I have spent the last day making an effort to walk properly and I can definately feel some tightness/resistance in a few muscles so I think that it is most likely an imbalance rather than a physical impairment.

thanks for reading!!!!!

Worth its weight in gold. It addresses the ankle issue and the hip issue (valgus fault--Google it).

Steep price tag but a very good investment.
